19.01.2004 MICHAEL SCHUMACHER AND RUBENS BARRICHELLO GET TO GRIPS WITH THE NEW FIAT PANDA

Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher, Ferrari team-mate Rubens Barrichello, and official test driver Luca Badoer, have all got to grips with the new Fiat Panda, which has been the Ferrari team's mode of transport at Madonna di Campiglio.

The International Press Ski Meeting held at Madonna di Campiglio, this year is known as Wroom 2004. It has become an annual fixture on the Ferrari Formula One team's calender, and is now in its fourteenth year.

For 2004 the new Fiat Panda Multijet, launched last month at the Bologna Motor Show, was chosen to ferry Ferrari personnel and journalists around the famous Trentino resort, with both Schumacher and Barrichello getting behind the wheel of the new Panda.

The new Panda aims to build on the traditions of the original 1980's icon, with a raft of 'niche' models coming on stream, including recently unveiled 4x4 and SUV versions.
