The
Italian duo Ravasio/Alessi made it five pole positions in a row in the
Trofeo Maserati Vodafone Europa at Imola today.
Diego Alessi and Francesco Ravasio set a time of 2:05.319, in front of
former F1 driver Ivan Capelli and British top model Jodie Kidd, who
are sharing the Pirelli Vip Car (2:05.623). Now it's time for Alessi
and Ravasio to try to get their first victory of the season.
Third, in the second row, the current leader of the series Andrea
Palma (2:06.123), consistent as usual. He has got a good advantage
over Alberto Cerrai, second overall but only in eighth place after the
qualifying session.
Fourth on the grid is Luca Frigerio (2:06.123), in front of the Swiss
drivers Notter/Cattori, both third overall after four races.
The Chinese driver Tengyi Jiang, only 19 years old, is on board of the
Ermenegildo Zegna Vip Car, and will start from 12th position. The
other guest drivers, journalists Nugnes/Harris (15th position,
2:08.551) and Magri/Guittard (22nd, 2:11.742) will try to make a good
start to finish the race in higher positions. |
