On a day that was hit by bad weather, the Scuderia Ferrari took part in the 'action' proceedings of the traditional end of year Bologna Motorshow, which is now in its 29th year. Test driver
Andrea Bertolini took to the temporary track of the specially constructed
'Lonsdale Arena' just after midday, and ran a series of demonstration laps in
the Formula One title winning F2004 chassis. Domenicali and
Bertolini witnessed the procession of the championship-winning Scuderia and
lingered at the Ferrari-Maserati Group, Fiat and Alfa Romeo stands. Also in action
today in the Lonsdale Arena, and again suffering in the poor weather conditions,
were the opening heats of several knock-out competitions specifically designed
for this motor show, including the GT Challenge, Italian Porsche GT3 Cup and the
Maserati Trofeo.
