The new Bertone designed GT headlines the large and spacious stand here, which sees nineteen models, representing the full range, being shown. Four of the 156-based 2+2 Coupes take centre stage with a 150bhp 1.9 M-Jet 16v version in Distinctive specification mounted on a tilting stand positioned in the centre of the display, flanked by two further versions available for detailed examination, a blue 240bhp 3.2 24v also in Distinctive trim and a pearlescent silver 1.9 M-Jet Progressive. A fourth grey GT is situated next to the stand's rest area where its lines can be taken in at leisure. The 156 saloon,
facelifted last summer, is represented by six models. Three Sportwagons, two
powered by the 140bhp 1.9 M-Jet 16v engine and one fitted with the 175bhp 2.0
M-Jet 16v are joined by two saloons, a 1.9 M-Jet 16v in Progressive trim and a
250bhp 3.2-litre V6 GTA mounted on top of one of the stands kiosks. Five 147's include a 250bhp cream GTA, while three restyled 166 executive saloons offer an array of engines including the 240bhp 3.2-litre 24v and the 175bhp 2.4 M-Jet 20v. Lastly, a 165bhp 2.0 JTS-powered Spider is mounted on a tilted plinth, and a 240bhp 3.2 V6 engined red GTV, complete the model line-up at the show. |
