25.08.2004 Minardi have announced a busy autumn testing schedule, which will also see promising young Australian drivers, Will Davison AND Will Power, getting their first taste of F1 power

Minardi Cosworth has today confirmed its provisional testing schedule for the next two months.

The busy programme will involve the Faenza team’s regular race drivers, Gianmaria Bruni and Zsolt Baumgartner, Friday test driver, Bas Leinders, contracted test drivers, Tiago Monteiro and Sergey Zlobin, and promising young Australian drivers, Will Davison and Will Power. 

The schedule is as follows:

Monza, Italy, September 1-3 (FIA test), Drivers: Gianmaria Bruni, Zsolt Baumgartner, Bas Leinders; Vallelunga, Italy, September 2-3, Drivers: Sergey Zlobin, Tiago Monteiro; Vallelunga, Italy, November 9-10, Drivers: Sergey Zlobin, Will Davison, Will Power

In addition, Bruni, Baumgartner and Leinders, plus former Grand Prix driver turned television commentator, Christian Danner, will participate in an important Minardi F1x2 event at the Lodrino di Biasca airbase in Switzerland, on September 4-5, on behalf of commercial partner, Connect Communication AG.

This will mark the first occasion the Minardi two-seater F1 cars have run in Switzerland.
