20.04.2004 With two wins out of two for Fabrizio Gollin AND Luca Cappellari, they have taken an early lead in the Driver's Championship while BMS head the Team's standings

With a third consecutive win for BMS Scuderia Italia's Fabrizio Gollin and Luca Cappellari, their second of the season, BMS has taken an early lead in the Teams Classification.

With Bobbi and Gardel finishing second in Valencia, the team has already scored 36 points, and is 25 points ahead of second-placed GPC Giesse Squadra Corse.

"This year we've had two wins in the first two races, so we can't complain! " Gollin explained. "We're very happy; the Championship is looking good so far.

"During the last pit stop, we only changed two of the tyres. After the first stint, our tyres were still good enough, so we decided to change them on just one side during the second stop."

Luca Cappellari was equally delighted, "It was a very good race for us. I had some good fights with my team mate Garbriele and with the other competitors. "We were somewhat lucky today, but luck is always important in motor racing. I have to say that the car is fantastic to drive with the power steering, very comfortable!"

However, Bobbi has not given up in his fight to retain his title, "But after all, the Championship is still very long and we're still close." He and Gabriele Gardel are four points behind Gollin and Cappellari.
