22.02.2004 SCUDERIA FERRARI OF WASHINGTON WILL ENTER A SECOND CAR IN THE GRAND PRIX OF MIAMI

SFoW Maserati have announced a second entry for the upcoming Grand Prix of Miami at the Miami-Homestead Speedway. The team will enter a Ferrari 360 Challenge in the SGS class for drivers T.J. Jermoluk and Dan Kennedy, both experienced drivers from the Ferrari Challenge series.

The team will race its Maserati Trofeo Light in the GT class, driven by Emil Assentato, Dr. Steve Earle, and Nick Longhi.

“I’d always enjoyed the Ferrari Challenge,” explained Kennedy, a former “Best New Driver” in that series. “TJ and I had been talking about moving up in racing, and the SGS class offered the perfect opportunity. I think our Ferrari will be competitive.”

Team Manager Glenn Marquis commented, “We first entered a Ferrari 360 Challenge car in the GT class last year, to gain some experience with it in GrandAm. We’d been talking to Dan and TJ, and the SGS class is perfect for them and the Ferrari. We plan to do well both with the Ferrari and with our Maserati in GT. We ran in the front of the class at Daytona, and we’ve learned more about this new car since then. We’re going to be ready for Homestead.”
