GTS class leaders, Larbre Competition, yesterday placed its Care Racing supported Ferrari 550 Maranello in pole position in the GTS class for this afternoon's Silverstone 1000kms. This is the team’s first class pole position of the series.
Pedro Lamy qualified the 6 litre,
V12 engined car with a best time of 1m 48.355, set during the first of today’s
two qualifying sessions. All three drivers, Bouchut, Lamy and Zacchia, have taken the wheel today and together they have worked on obtaining a set up for the car with which they are all happy.
Pedro Lamy: “Well, it was quite a
quick time but I think I could have done better as I had some traffic. Having
said that, it wasn’t necessary to use a second set of tyres – we felt we had
done enough.
