As has now become
tradition, Maserati cars from past and present will make an
appearance this weekend
at The 'Modena, Terra Di Motori',
an open-air event that celebrates Italian motoring.
The porticos of Via Farini will be the evocative setting
where six models illustrating the company’s history will be
on display. Three of the vehicles are classic cars from the
past, and three are from the current range. It is these new
models that have assured Maserati’s return to a commanding
position in the automobile world.
The 3500 GT Spyder Vignale, the A6GCS Pininfarina berlinetta
and Pietro Frua’s first Quattroporte are the jewels from the
1950s and 1960s that represent the glorious past of the
Trident marque.
Symbolising the Modenese company’s international recent
re-launch will be the Spyder, the GranSport, a sportier,
aggressive looking version of the Coupé, and the
Quattroporte luxury saloon.
The Quattroporte
is Maserati’s take on the quintessential Italian flagship.
It blends style, elegance and authentic sporty performance.
Since its launch on the world market the luxury Trident
berlina, majestically designed by Pininfarina, has enjoyed
enormous success and collected eighteen prestigious
international awards in as many months.
With its participation in the event, the House of the
Trident aims to emphasise the strong bond with the Emilian
city, famous throughout the world for being the ‘engine
capital’. |
