Stola NA, a division of Stola S.p.a., has
announced the opening of a new North American studio on June
24, 2005.
This North American facility is located
in Ferndale, Michigan, an upscale art and design community
centrally located in the Detroit, Michigan area. This studio
houses the most current digital design tools, engineering
and feasibility competencies and traditional prototype
building tools.
This
state of the art studio carries forward the idea that unique
things grow out of unique spaces. This studio is like no
other in the Detroit area. Designed by Van Tine Guthrie and
built by Sterling Millworks, it incorporates many types of
material and textures to create a space that fosters
innovation and creativity while maintaining the importance
of confidentiality.
"This event is the positive conclusion of
a combination of the well recognized professional capability
of Stola S.p.a. and the creativity and talent of Ken Grant
and Michael Check," says Mr. Teresio Pirra, V.P. Sales and
Marketing for Stola S.p.a. "The opening of Stola NA studio
is the last act of the globalization activity of the Stola
Group. The globalization of the market is the reality with
which all companies will have to deal from now on; Stola is
ready to take on the challenge and to become one of the
world's leaders in this field."
The opening of the studio coincided with
the launch of the 18th Annual Eyes of Design Charity
Weekend. Stola NA hosted the 'Eve of the Eyes' party
at the new studio on Friday, June 24th. |
