On Saturday 18th and Sunday
19th March, the pan-Italian Alfa Romeo dealer network
presented the new special series of the Alfa 147, named as
the “Black Line” edition, to the public. Starting from
18,590 euros, and available on all versions including 3- and
5-door, Alfa Romeo is pleased to present this elegant new
look.
On this exclusive Alfa 147
model, sportivity and distinguished styling are closely
united, most visibly by the eye-catching new two-tone
paintwork called “Livrea Bicolore”. Several of the details
(including the side mirrors and rear roof lip-spoiler) and
the entire roof section are painted in a shining black
(Nero) colour finish, making up a perfect combination with
the available colours for the rest of the car (Rosso Alfa,
Grigio Navona, Grigio Stromboli, and Blu Digione). The seats
are also available in a new black and red colour
combination.
The visual aspects of
sportivity increase on this Alfa model thanks to the fact
that it sits lower on its wheels. New 17-inch alloy wheels,
polished chrome detailing, such as the end of the exhaust,
and meaty 215/45 tyres combine to set this car out from the
crowd. The 'Black Line' specification is completed with
extras including VDC with ASR, ABS complete EBD, 6-airbags,
audio with CD, climate control and steering wheel and a
leather-finished gearknob.

Alfa Romeo has thus updated to a maximum the popular Alfa
147, and it now offers everything needed to make this model
range even more desirable then ever. In fact prices remain
almost the same as before. The basic Alfa 147 version is now
better equipped with the addition of integrated VDC with
ASR, and 16-inch alloys, plus audio with CD player. With
these additions the Alfa 147 is brought right up to date
with newer entrants in this segment, in terms of styling,
safety and comfort. All engines conform to Euro 4 emission
limits.
From today the Alfa 147 line-up consists of 3- and 5-door
versions, five engine options (1.6TS with 105 and 120 bhp,
2.0TS with 150 bhp and 1.9JTDM with 120 and 150 bhp, and
either mechanical gearbox or Selespeed), and can be ordered
in four different equipment levels (Progression,
Distinctive, Exclusive and of course now the new special
Black Line series).
The 'Progression' level features foglights, 6
airbags, VDC with ASR and MSR, ABS completed with EBD and
Brake Assist, rear safety belts and headrests, roof spoiler
on the 3 door hatch, 16 inch alloys, 205/55 tyres, steering
wheel and gear knob in finished in leather, aluminium
dashboard finish, on board computer with display, front and
rear electric windows (rear on 5-door), colour-coded
electric door mirrors and remote central locking. The
'Distinctive' option adds dual zone climate control, side
arm rests, AlfaTex material seats, cruise control, audio
controls on the steering wheel and gear controls on the
Selespeed version. Lastly 'Exclsuive'
adds 17-inch alloy wheel, phone controls mounted on the
steering wheel, voice recognition and Connect NAV+, audio
CD, colour display, GSM dual band phone system, navigation
control panel and 'Alfa Service' connection.
