Italian sporting
car manufacturer, Alfa Romeo, and prestigious automotive
retail group, HR Owen, have just announced the opening of a
new Alfa Romeo dealership in London. The flagship dealership
site is located in Parsons Green. It has already opened its
doors to the public, and demonstrates Alfa Romeo’s renewed
commitment to improving its customer experience in terms of
the sales process and aftersales service, so as to deliver a
quality step-change in all aspects which impact on customer
satisfaction.
The new HR Owen
dealership is showcasing Alfa Romeo’s recently launched
mid-sized sports saloon and estate, the Alfa 159 and Alfa
159 Sportwagon, as well as the stylish Alfa Brera coupe,
alongside current models such as the Alfa 147 and Alfa GT.
The new Alfa Spider is also being previewed at the
dealership.
Alfa Romeo’s UK
managing director, Christopher Nicoll, says: "We are very
pleased to be working with such a prestigious group as HR
Owen, which has a strong association with premium motoring
and holds the same values and vision as us. This is a very
exciting time for the brand as we introduce a number of new
products, including the iconic Alfa Spider at the beginning
of 2007, and implement a series of far-reaching changes to
our dealer network."

Welcoming the association with Alfa Romeo, HR Owen’s chief

central London, which is one of the world’s leading playing

expertise at this end of the market to capitalise on Alfa
Romeo’s fantastic range of new models."
HR Owen Plc has
evolved into the group it is today over a period of more
than 70 years. Captain Harold Rolfe Owen opened his
dealership, selling Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars in
1932. Over the years, the original business in Berkeley
Street, London, has relocated, been joined by many other
franchises and experienced a number of 'owners', culminating
with the purchase of H.R. Owen dealerships by Malaya Group
Plc in 1994. Malaya Group since attributed the HR Owen name
to the majority of its prestige franchises and adopted the
HR Owen name for the group in 1997 - the year HR Owen
celebrated its 65th anniversary.
