At the annual "Best Cars" readers' poll organised by German automotive magazine Auto Motor und Sport, the Ferrari F430 Spider gained first place in the 'Imported Cabriolet' category. It follows up the award which was last year handed to the F430 Coupé when it won first place in the category for the 'Best Imported Sportscar'. The readers' poll celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, with more than 100,000 of the magazine's readers taking part. Ferrari has won an award some 30 times.

The world première of the Ferrari F430 Spider was celebrated at Geneva Motor Show last year. The open version of the eight-cylinder engine sports car designed by Pininfarina with a mid-mounted engine perfectly combines the pleasure of open driving with pure sportiness. Ferrari's new drop-top includes a number of important technical features.
