At the highly
prestigious international 'Luxury and Yachts' exhibition, which opens its
doors to the public on Saturday in Verona, Fiat will present the unique
Centro Stile-created Panda 'Luxury' showcar. The fourth
edition of the 'Luxury & Yachts' show will bring together
only the very finest of Italian and international quality products, and a
highlight of the event will be the first ever showing of the new
Pagani Zonda Roadster F, just days prior to its 76th Geneva Motor
Show 'world première'.
Into this mix comes bursting Fiat's latest interpretation of
the iconic Panda, an ultra-luxury showcar based around the
versatile 4x4 model, and a cute car that can hold its own
with the best this show has to offer Realised by Centro Stile it epitomises
the all finesse of a luxurious bath, with a beautiful finish that reflects
the lure of only the finest of materials, encrusted with
jewels and precious metals.
Fiat Centro Stile created the Panda Luxury in collaboration
with three companies who specialise in the development and
production of unique products. In detail, Salt & Turinmodel
have carried out the detailed personalisation of much the
interior, carefully incorporating the finish standards of
the
materials used, with special coverings, and the use of alcantara, Adm Painting has created the special paint
finishes, while Proint has put into great effect a unique range and
width of specific varnishes and particular featured effects.
This new
show car, justifiably named 'Luxury', amply demonstrates once again that the
Panda model is not simply a category-leading supercompact car, but a true and
unique 'platform' on which Fiat is creating an entire family
of automobiles which boast abundant use of technology and all the details
to be expected from advanced categories, from the nimble small 4x4
model to the chic, 'designer' Alessi version.

watches to dream cars, 'Luxury and Yachts', the 4th
international show dedicated to luxury, will take place in
Verona (at the Veronafiere exhibition centre) from 25
February to 5 March: a truly unique show for dream objects.
The event, which takes place simultaneously with Nautic Show
(8th International Yacht Show) and the Pescare-Fly Fishing
and Spinning Show (25 - 27 Feb), was previewed earlier this
week by the Veronafiere President Luigi Castelletti and
Director-general Giovanni Mantovani, and by Luciano Coin,
the President of Optimist, the large Italian
event-organising company.
Items will range from boats to jewellery, including pens,
accessories and antiques, motorbikes, clothing, shoes,
tanning products and food. The three initiatives, which host
all together more than 500 exhibitors (up 20 pct on the 2005
edition) on a surface of 30,000 sq. metres, represents the
best of Italian and international luxury products. "This
sector has grown consistently over the past few years. We
expect over 60,000 visitors" said Castelletti. Coin focused
on the particular aspects of the shows, mentioning the Argo'
prize for watches, the new 800,000 euro Pagani Zonda
Roadster F, the new Fiat Panda Luxury showcar, the luxurious
Maserati Quattroporte, as well as attendances from Bentley,
Lamborghini and Ducati. The shows inauguration will be
attended by Deputy Prime Minister Gianfranco Fini, and
Deputy Industry Minister Adolfo Urso.
