18.07.2006 BROCKENHURST ESTATE AGENTS REPLACES ITS MINI FLEET WITH THE NEW FIAT GRANDE PUNTO

Brockenhurst Estate Agents, the leading estate agency in the Andover (Hampshire) area of the UK, is currently in the process of replacing its existing fleet of Minis with Fiat Auto’s stylish new Grande Punto, in a move designed to reflect the company’s revitalised image.

Brockenhurst Estate Agents has a network of five offices which specialise in residential properties in and around the Andover area, as well as a specialist Fine and Country division dealing solely with prestige properties in the area. The company has taken delivery of its first three Grande Puntos, with an additional three on order and a further two scheduled for the future. The vehicles are a mix of versions including Dynamic, Sporting and Active, with petrol and diesel engines. They will be driven by sales staff, the company secretary and managers. The firm first contacted Fiat Auto UK when the new Grande Punto was launched earlier this year, as the company felt it would reflect its business more appropriately than its then current fleet.

The new Fiat Grande Puntos are being supplied through Fiat dealership, Wilsons of Epsom, and being financed by the HSBC bank. David Griffiths, managing director, Brockenhurst Estate Agents, remarks: “We chose the Fiat Grande Punto as a replacement to our Mini fleet because of the style of the product and the value for money that you get. “The specification is stunning, with air conditioning, CD player and among many safety features you get as standard, you also get Bluetooth. This specification as standard really gives the Grande Punto an edge over its rivals. Brockenhurst Estate Agents a modern and professional look, with a touch of flair, which is in line with the aspirations of our company and in accordance with our recent change of image. Grande Punto, quite simply, is an impressive product from Fiat.”

Fiat Auto’s Grande Punto supermini is the largest car in the highly competitive B segment, combining class-leading accommodation with high quality build, flexible and practical interiors, comprehensive equipment levels, state-of-the-art technology and the superior driving dynamics of larger, higher segment vehicles. It also meets the highest safety standards, as new Grande Punto model has been awarded a maximum 5-star safety rating in the gruelling Euro NCAP crash test programme. Achieving 5 stars for passenger safety, 3 stars for child protection and a further 3 for pedestrian protection, the new Fiat recorded a total of 33 points out of a possible 37.
