Lamborghini announced this morning that it has strengthened
its management team with the appointment of four new
directors, joining President and CEO Stephan Winkelmann
(42). Maurizio Reggiani (47) has been appointed as the new
director of Research and Development from his previous
position within the company where he was responsible for
Lamborghini powertrains. Born in Mirandola (Modena) on 8
February 1959, Reggiani is a certified mechanical engineer.
Umberto Tossini (39) is the new director of Human Resources
and Organisation. Born in Avellino on 9 October 1967, he
comes to the position from Vodafone, where he was director
of Industrial Relations. A graduate in law, his former roles
have included a number of positions in Fiat Auto, the most
recent as director of Human Resources for Fiat Auto Suisse.
Ingo Budde (39) is the new Quality Director. An engineering
graduate, he joins Lamborghini from the equivalent division
within Audi AG. He was born in Bonn, Germany, on 3 February
1967.

Johannes Schmitz-Valckenberg (40), the new Purchasing
director, also comes from Audi. Born in Bochum, Germany, on
22 October 1966 and a graduate in engineering, he comes from
the equivalent division at the Ingolstadt based
manufacturer.
Reggiani, Tossini, Budde and Schmitz-Valckenberg take their
places on the managerial board of Automobili Lamborghini
alongside, in addition to Winkelmann, Salvatore Cieri (49)
Finance; Klaus-Peter Koerner (47) Production; Ulrich
Christian Leonhardt (37) Project Management; Dominik H.
Hoberg (35) Corporate Image, Communication and
Merchandising; and Manfred L. Fitzgerald (43) Brand &
Design.
