Lancia are
presenting the new 'Collezione Centenario' range in their
dealerships across Italy this weekend as they celebrate
their 100th anniversary with special limited-edition
versions of the Ypsilon, Musa and Thesis that carefully
reflect the brand's historic values. At the same time a new
dedicated advertising campaign by Armando Testa to introduce
the 'Collezione Centenario' (Centenary Collection) is also
getting underway on Italian television.
The customer can specify these limited-edition 'special'
Ypsilon, Musa or Thesis models which come with their
distinctive B-pillar mounted centenary logos in any version
of the model range, including with Lancia's exclusive 'bi-colore'
finish which, while embodying strong historical references,
also serves to set the brand apart from its rivals in the
modern age.
The Lancia Ypsilon Collezione Centenario ranges comes with
the option of the bi-colore varnished paint finish, while
inside the seats and panels can be specified in the
'Glamour' finish (cloth or leather). The radio comes with a
CD player and MP3 reader while 15- or 16-inch alloy wheels
can be added to improve its visual appearance. Other options
for Lancia's stylish 'pocket flagship' include the popular
robotized DFN (Dolce Far Niente) gearbox system, dual-zone
climate control, SatNav, a Bose Hi-Fi and the distinctive
large glass 'Gran Luce' roof. The Ypsilon Collezione
Centenario range starts at 11,000 euros for the entry-level
1.2 8v version.
Next up is the Musa Collezione Centenario, which is again
available in a full range of bi-colore paint finishes. The
Musa is a spacious, luxurious small MPV, and the interior
finish is detailed and plush. Brown or Ivory leather can be
specified along with the distinctive Musa script which is
splayed across the front headrests. Lancia see the Musa as a
'pleasant living space' and the Collezione Centenario
edition features adjustable modular seats with 32
configurations, dual-zone climate control, SatNav, CD and
MP3 player, GSM with 'vivavoce', and bi-colore 16-inch alloy
wheels. Safety is an important embedded factor in the Musa

sensors, ESP, ABS with EBD, ASR, Hill Holder, and fog lights
amongst their safety aids. Also available is the DFN gearbox
and Gran Luce sunroof. Prices for the Musa Collezione
Centenario start at 14,350 euros.
The third special edition is the Thesis Collezione
