The prestigious Lancia Tour Italian Design, which is currently in the centre of Brussels (Rogierplein) was festively opened last Friday evening, 29 September.

Around 200 VIP’s were welcomed on the event’s opening night. Lancia CEO, Olivier François, was the guest of honour. The unique and prestigious exhibition creates a symbolic and visual bridge between the most important historic and modern Lancias, and a number of the most remarkable Italian design objects of the past century.

The aim of the exhibition is to display the milestone of Lancia’s Centenary, and also to present the link of the brand’s hundred years of existence with its evolution of design.  In the generously sized Lancia Tour Italian Design canopy located on the Rogierplein, each visitor can compare the exhibited design objects of Italian origin with the Lancia cars, and couple the products’ forms and functions with the cars’ innovations.
 

Alongside the many historical models on display (Lambda Torpedo, Aurelia B24 Spider, Fulvia Coupé, Stratos Bertone prototype and Delta HF Integrale Martini Racing) the visitor can discover the brand new Lancia Ypsilon, which has just been introduced on the Belgian market. The Lancia Tour Italian Design will continue in Brussels until 7 October.

One day before the opening of the Lancia Tour Italian Design in Brussels, Lancia unveiled the Delta HPE concept car at the Paris Motor Show. This particular car gives a direct indication towards the marque’s new C-segment crossover which will be launched next year.
