Irisbus Iveco,
the Iveco sister company operating in the field of passenger
transportation, has presented at the MIT International in
Paris, the world’s largest trade fair for tourism
professionals, two world premières: the new Recreo and the
Evadys H.
The MIT
International exhibition is very well established on the
global tourism trade fair
calendar. At the event exhibitors unveil their new products
along with, of course, prices designed for all French and
foreign professionals who come to the trade fair. These are
often “turnkey” proposals but all the exhibitors also
propose “tailor-made" services. The visitors, from across
France and the entire world, come to buy and conclude
business on the spot, negotiating capacities and
flexibility, making pre-reservations or obtaining
information on products so as to confirm their orders
throughout the year.
Hence contacts made during the trade
fair itself in October can actually generate two seasons of
turnover for exhibitors. MIT International is where the
emphasis is firmly on professionalism and accessibility, is
the annual meeting in Paris for all French and foreign
tourism professionals. It is an immense “workshop”, the
biggest trade fair for French and international tourism
professionals, one great marketplace where business is done
and new opportunities open up, for both visitors and
exhibitors.

Evadys H is destined to open new perspectives for tourism,
due to the fact that it is designed to be versatile. The
vehicle shows the full range of its talents by being equally
suitable for “regional route” operations and “local
tourism”. |

Versailles and over 1,100 companies present alongside Iveco,
830 French companies and 320 foreign companies, with 117
countries represented. This edition of the trade fair, as
with every even-numbered year, is hosting all coach
manufacturers. 10,000 professionals expected, including
2,000 from outside France, the visitors made up of coach
operators, tour operators and travel agents.
Iveco lead out with two new models. The Recreo, after
ten years of success, has given way to a completely updated
vehicle, with a new design and new Euro 4 engines. It will
continue to lead the way in the world of school transport,
placing the priority on the safety of its young passengers.
Evadys H is destined to open new perspectives for tourism,
due to the fact that it is designed to be versatile. The
vehicle shows the full range of its talents by being equally
suitable for “regional route” operations and “local
tourism”. Evadys coaches are powered by the new generation
of Euro 4 Cursor engines that exhibit excellent performance.
At the MIT International Irisbus Iveco has exhibited on its
stand other new vehicles designed for the French market:
