The Fiat FCC
Adventure concept car, a vehicle developed by the Fiat
Styling Centre in Brazil, which proposes the innovative
concept of a two-seater ‘sports off-roader’, will make its
European debut at the Bologna Motor Show next week.
The Fiat FCC Adventure, which received its world première at
the São Paulo Motor Show in Brazil in October, combines the
proportions of a sports car with the main features of an
off-road vehicle (increased height and large approach and
departure angles). The front has two distinctive mouldings
on the bonnet, headlights that convey its strong personality
and a front steel bar that is built into the bumper. The
sides are emphasised by fluid lines more typical of a coupé,
while the other stylistic elements underline the impression
of an agile, dynamic car: from the short bonnet and boot to
the high headlights, pronounced wheelarches and exclusive
18” wheels. Two other styling elements are the side
mouldings that create different planes and a luminous
‘chiaroscuro’ effect that is typically Italian; the rooftop
bars also have an aerodynamic effect.
Meanwhile at the ear of the FCC Adventure the boot lid is
positioned very high up, with light clusters at either side,
and the well defined, strong bumpers complete the sturdy
look of the car.

Its sporty aspirations are also underlined by the central
exhaust terminals and the spoiler, which incorporates the
brake light. And to respect the Adventure concept in full,
the spare tyre is positioned on the upper part of the
tailgate.
Inside, the furnishings are all black, silver and orange;
the steering wheel is upholstered in leather (decorated with
original orange and silver applications), and the enveloping
seats are fitted with orange five-point seat-belts with
black details. The Adventure Concept Car has been equipped
with a compass and inclinometer on the central console, and
to ensure outstanding efficiency it is powered by the 167
bhp 2.4 20v petrol engine, with front-wheel drive, a
self-locking differential, independent suspension on the
front wheels, multilink suspension at the rear with
adjustable shock absorbers and 285/60 R18 P Zero tyres on 18
x 9.5” wheels. The body is painted with metallic Tricoat
orange paint, a paint that produces a special iridescent
effect, changing from yellow to intense red with the light.
