This weekend
(23, 24, 25, June) the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit
in Belgium will be turned red for three exclusive Ferrari
Racing Days with the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli
topping the bill. The Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB are
aiming to follow victory at the last race in Valencia (4
June) with another strong podium finish in Belgium. Spa is a
favourite track for many Ferrari drivers and it is both
respected and feared by all who compete as they face not
only the longest lap length in the Challenge series, but
also the notorious weather conditions with the track
frequently wet and dry on the same lap.
Ferrari
Challenge racing is the ultimate expression of luxury
lifestyle racing, bringing together the race proven
technology of the Ferrari F430 Challenge car, the best
hospitality, competitive racing and entertainment for our
clients on and off the track. In Belgium, spectators will
see in excess of 150 Ferraris of all types, from several
Formula 1 cars to the Shell Historic Ferraris plus four
races in the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli across the
weekend. There will also be a rare public outing for a
handful of the extreme Ferrari FXX cars.
Ferrari GB
Managing Director Massimo Fedeli said: ‘The Ferrari
Challenge offers Ferrari customers the ultimate opportunity
to race the F430 Challenge with other clients, and enjoy the

Ferrari GB took the chequered
flag for the first time this season with a perfect
first and second place in the Spanish sunshine when
the second round of the 2006 Ferrari Challenge
Trofeo Pirelli took place in Valencia earlier this
month. |

"At Valencia we were delighted with our 1-2 finish in the
Spanish sunshine, and we’re heading to the historic Spa
circuit focused on another victory for the team. This
weekend we will also welcome many Ferrari owners from the UK
who will take the opportunity to drive their cars on this
short trip to mainland Europe to the legendary Belgian
circuit.’
In a four-car
team this weekend, the Ferrari Challenge Dealer Team GB will
look to get on the podium again with the backing of three of
the UK’s Ferrari dealers; Graypaul of Nottingham, HR Owen in
London and Maranello Sales Ltd in Egham, Surrey. Driving for
Ferrari Dealer Team GB will be Ross Kaiser and Christian
Passuti/Lorenzo Case in the Trofeo Pirelli, with Borislav
Maletić and Geoff Farmer competing in the Coppa Shell.
The
Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli is the world’s most
exclusive single-make racing series created as the perfect
outlet for Ferrari owners who want to race. The 2006 season
includes races in the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy
and Spain, before climaxing at the World Finals in Italy all
delivered in the style and luxury associated with any
Ferrari occasion.
