This date was a significant one as it came 40 years after the construction of
the first vehicle to carry the Ferrari name, the 125 S. This vehicle would soon be known the world over for
its distinctive engine roar while the Prancing Horse symbol gave Italy, and
the motor-racing world in general, a dream of a car.
Since then, The Ferrari Club Italia has grown steadily in size thanks to increasing interest from the
Prancing Horse’s clients. Professionals, industrialists, entrepreneurs,
collectors and drivers have all joined this, the world’s most prestigious
automobile club. Their membership allows them to get together on a whole variety
of occasions and to participate personally in Ferrari’s most important events.
The Club is an integral part of the company and has always been based in
Maranello, either inside the factory complex itself or in its immediate
vicinity.
The Ferrari Club Italia is open exclusively to owners of Ferrari cars. It is the most privileged ticket to
experiencing the life and history of the Prancing Horse marque right from the inside.
The Club members have a huge array of opportunities to experience at firsthand
the comings and goings of the Scuderia, its drivers and the Ferrari world in
general.
They also get to attend the Formula 1 Grands Prix, the unveilings of the
single-seaters, the Challenge races, the Concours d’Elegances and rallies in
spectacular settings.
The Ferrari Club Italia calendar is packed with events, both national and
international, many of which offer sportier clients to test themselves in time
trials or experience the thrill of lapping the most prestigious of the Challenge
circuits.
