13.06.2007 MILAN, TURIN AND GENOA ON THE ITINERARY AT THE 'RELAY' TAKES IN NORTHERN ITALY

The Ferrari 60 Relay has spent the last few days on an emotional visit to some of Northern Italy's most beautiful and historical places, taking in a string of locations that are synonymous with the nation's car industry. As the Tour - which is celebrating the 60th anniversary of the unique sportscar maker - enters the final stages of its global mission, clients are carrying the special 'baton' in relays towards the final finish line in Maranello.

The thriving cities of Milan, Turin and Genoa have been on the itinerary over the weekend and this week as the 'baton' now prepares to cross to the island of Sardinia. The cavalcade of Maranello-built sportscars has now visited the legendary Fiat roof top test track located at the old Lingotto factory, taken to the historic steep banking at the Monza Grand Prix circuit and also stopped by Pininfarina's headquarters in Turin, as well as the factories of three leading Italian companies with a worldwide reach: MV Augusta, Beretta and Brembo.

Milan, 8th June 2007 - After more than 50 cars of the brand with the Prancing Horse stopped in front of the Ferrari Store on Piazza Liberty on Friday, 8th June, on and Saturday, 9th June, the famous Piazza Duomo played host for Ferrari and the start of the 7th stage of the Italian leg of the Ferrari 60 Relay. The cars of the Tour, which carry the baton with its 60 symbols from the history of Ferrari, drove through the metropolis' streets and stopped in Via Montenapoleone for an aperitif at the Damiani boutique. After dropping by at the new Rossocorsa dealership (on Via dei Missaglia 89), the cars left in the direction of Monza for a photo session on the legendary Parabolica at the Autodromo.

Sunday, 10th June -
The Relay started the stage of the day at the Rossocorsa dealership early in the morning, when the cars drove in the direction of Vergiate, to visit the Agusta Westland works, the home of the legendary Italian helicopter manufacturer. The Ferrari 60 Relay baton was then brought to the old Fiat test track at Lingotto. From there, the column of Ferraris, which were waiting on the famous track, departed in the direction of Langhe via Pralormo, Canale, Montà d'Alba and Guarene and eventually arrived in Barolo.

Monday, 11th June - The Tour visited the Pininfarina facility, home of the design Italian house that has shaped so many of the Maranello carmaker's famous models. Mr. Sergio Pininfarina welcomed the Relay at the company's headquarters in Cambiano, where the participants of the Tour were on the spot for a special "designer performance" by one of Pininfarina's planners.

Genoa, 12th June 2007 - Having left Piedmont, the Ferrari 60 Relay is now on its way to Liguria. The Prancing Horse cars and the participating clients met at the Ferrari Showroom Team Forza in Ceriale (SV). The Tour then left in the direction of Genoa's old harbour, where the baton will be passed on and brought to Sardinia by the Swan 70 "Bugia Bianca".
