Following Inchcape PLC’s decision earlier this year to concentrate on other business ventures, Ferrari GB Ltd and Maserati GB Ltd are pleased to announce the appointment of HR Owen, Sytner Group and Lancaster to manage the previous Maranello Sales Ferrari dealerships in St Albans, Egham and Sevenoaks. These appointments demonstrate the strength and prestige of the Ferrari and Maserati brands to the dealership portfolio, with three of the current dealers choosing to extend their relationship with the two Italian brands by adding another Ferrari and Maserati dealership to their existing businesses.

The appointment of these three dealers means that our sales and aftersales staff can now move forward with stability and confidence in the product and the brand.”

The transfer of these businesses to the new owners was completed on Tuesday 02 October 2007 and is as follows:

Lancaster Sevenoaks (previously Maranello Sevenoaks)

Lancaster Sevenoaks will maintain the dealership’s premium showroom location in the heart of Sevenoaks until a new site can be established which will combine the both the Sales and Aftersales functions. This will represent a significant improvement in customer care for Ferrari and Maserati owners in Kent.
 

Who will be able to have their cars serviced more locally than previously. Until new premises can be established, Lancaster Sevenoaks will transfer all service work to Lancaster Colchester instead of Thorpe as previously. Richard Grant, Sales Manager, continues to represent both brands in Sevenoaks, with Ian Barrow now General Manager for Ferrari and Maserati in Sevenoaks, and Simon Everett, Operations Director, now also responsible for the Kent outlet.

H R Owen Sports Cars St Albans (previously Maranello St Albans)

H R Owen Sports Cars St Albans will operate from the existing premises in St Albans, with service work now transferred to the Central London Aftersales facility (rather than Thorpe as previously). Nick Lancaster, Chief Executive, and Tim Kearns, General Manager, will manage the new addition to the H R Owen Sports Cars portfolio.

Maranello Egham
 
The Sytner Group are delighted to add the Maranello Egham dealership to their existing Graypaul Edinburgh and Graypaul Nottingham businesses. Maranello Egham will maintain the same name and flagship premises which offers both Sales and Aftersales functions, as well as a Ferrari corner which offers a Ferrari Dealer Selection of products. Richard Wynn-Jones, Divisional Managing Director, now has responsibility for the Sytner Group’s three Ferrari and Maserati dealerships, while Graham Mundell, Brand Director, Lee Hickles, Sales Manager, and Mark Clifton Aftersales Manager continue with the business at Egham.
