Fiat Automóveis were present this month
at Reatech 2007, the largest event to be held in
Latin America which showcase products and innovations
designed for those with impaired mobility. Fiat arrived
with a full model line-up from their Autonomy Programme
led out by the new Palio, all arrayed on a stand of 184
sq. metres an area designed to welcome the public in an
involving way, to be able to appreciate the models
offered, and clearly demonstrate the most recent results
of its continuous pledge to become more and more closer
to the demands of this category of consumer.
The fifth edition of the International
Fair of Technologies in Rehabilitation and Inclusion,
Reatech 2007, took place from 12th to 15th April, in
the “Centro de Exposições Imigrantes” in the city of São
Paulo. The Fiat models on display on the stand - all of
which had been adapted to the requirements of drivers
with special needs - were: the New Palio ELX 1.4, the
sporty New Palio 1.8R, the Ducato Maxi and finally the
Doblò ELX 1.8.
Meanwhile, in
the Fiat test drive area the show's visitors were able
to evaluate the enhanced performance and characteristics
of the Idea HLX 1.8, Idea ELX 1.4, New Palio ELX 1.4 and
Doblò Adventure 1.8. All these vehicles were adapted by
Fiat Automóveis’ partners in the Autonomy Programme:
Cavenaghi, Simplex Guido and Technobrás.
The Fiat Automóveis Autonomy initiative
is the Brazilian division of the program created in 1996
which aims to create the optimum access for drivers with
special needs to the appropriate car for their
requirements.
