For the first birthday of the official Fiat 500 website - 500 wants you - a revamp has been carried out with a host of innovative new features being added, starting with a new home page: perfectly in key with the 500 spirit - say Fiat - it can be personalised by users, adding a message about the new car, and they can play with it modifying its structure and contents, and then save it as “My home”.

Two important now initiatives have been rolled out on the revamped website “Have you seen 500?” and “50x500 online booking”. These two new campaigns build on a string of themes over the last year that have included contests to design individualised versions of the 500, creating a unique 'mascot' and competitions such as 'Baby Boom'. The new Fiat 500 will be launched on 4th July, exactly 50 years after the original model was introduced.

The first new initiative involves the website users spotting the 500 'prototypes' on the roads of Europe. When a visitors sights the new 500 travelling around Europe for the final quality tests, and take a snapshot, they can send them via an MMS to 39.331.2288799 or deliver the photo via the website, contributing to the creation of a live map in "Have you seen 500?" section. Then from May 8th, visit the 500x500 online booking section, to book in advance a new 500 from the exclusive ‘500 wants you’ edition: 500 new Fiat 500s made available to the 'Community', only online.
