Argentinean
tennis star David Nalbandián has arrived back home from
Europe after stunning victories over top ATP Tour
players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, and he used the
new Fiat Punto to arrive in style at his celebratory
press conference.
The new
Brazilian-built Punto, based on the highly successful
European Grande Punto, was launched onto the Latin American
media in August, going on sale in Argentina in the autumn.
To emphasis the interest in the stylish new car Fiat Auto
Argentina joined up the local tennis player Nalbandián for a
press conference where he recalled his recent European
triumphs with his supportive home media.
The press
briefing took place in the Holiday Inn hotel in the city of
Córdoba, which is also home to a Fiat Automóveis assembly
plant. Nalbandián has returned from Europe after resounding
triumphs in the "Masters Series of Madrid" and the "Masters
Series of Paris" where he defeated top names, Roger Federer
and Rafael Nadal, respectively.
The number nine
player the ATP rankings was born in Unquillo, a town near
Córdoba, and he arrived in the city in Fiat Punto and headed
to the Hotel, where he formalised his decision to not travel
to China to participate in the Masters of Shanghai. Fiat
Auto Argentina was present, moreover, with an exhibition of
vehicles in the restaurant and hotel’s lobby.
