Each year in the picturesque Pocono Mountains at the
exclusive Skytop Lodge and Pocono Raceway, the annual Le
Belle Macchine d’Italia plays host to honored guests who
get a chance to view and drive some of the most
uncompromising, rarest Italian sports cars ever
conceived.
As Le Belle Macchine d’Italia celebrates the
allure of these fine Italian automobiles from June 22nd
– 24th, legendary automaker Automobili Lamborghini will
prepare an exclusive opportunity of its own showcasing
the current pinnacle of supercar performance and luxury,
the brand new Gallardo Superleggera.
The sleek new Gallardo Superleggera will be on display
Saturday, June 23rd at the event center-stage for guests
to see the undeniable perfection of one of the finest
supercars ever created. During this VIP viewing, guests
will get a rare chance to see one of the fastest cars on
earth at rest and then be offered a phenomenal
opportunity to get an extreme taste of Italy. In
exchange for charitable donations, guests are invited on
a blisteringly fast Gallardo Superleggera track driving
experience.
Contributors will be given the advanced opportunity to
experience driving in the Superleggera even before cars
are available to North American buyers with all proceeds
going directly to the Pan-Mass Challenge supporting the
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Contributors will be
accompanied by official Automobili Lamborghini test
drivers streaking through turns and straightaways,
burning hot laps with some of the most talented drivers
in the world.

Conceived with no compromises in mind, Lamborghini took
the Gallardo platform and made the car lighter by
dropping superfluous weight and added 10 more horsepower
to the mid-mounted V10 engine to total a blisteringly
fast 530 horsepower. The fierce package makes the
stealthy Superleggera post a sharp 3.8 second 0-100
kilometer time, shaving a full 0.2 seconds off an
already impressive time.
In addition to the brand new Gallardo Superleggera, the
celebration also plans to have a special display of all
new Lamborghini vehicles. Automobili Lamborghini
currently produces the V12 Murciélago LP640 coupe and
roadster in addition to the convertible Gallardo Spyder and
coupe models.
Founded in 1963 and bought by Audi AG in 1998,
Automobili Lamborghini is headquartered in Sant’ Agata
Bolognese, Italy and manufactures some of the world’s most
sought after super sports cars. With 33 dealerships in
North America and more than 100 worldwide, Automobili
Lamborghini has created a succession of dynamic and elegant
sports cars and sedans.
