Following its
presentation on the European and US markets, the Maserati
GranTurismo has been unveiled on the Asian market at Auto
Shanghai 2007.
The latest Trident model was a success from the start. The GranTurismo was quick
to draw the attention of press and clients the world over. Following the
presentation of the vehicle by Simone Niccolai, Sales Manager of Eastern
Europe, the Middle East and Africa, the latest Trident creation was unveiled to
journalists and all those present.
The vehicle, majestically designed by Pininfarina, is testimony to the
unmistakably Italian styling evoked by the Modenese car. As well as the
GranTurismo, the new Executive GT version of the Quattroporte Automatic was
presented at the Shanghai Motor Show. Completing the Italian look and feel of
the Maserati stand were the Poltrona Frau lounge furnishings, the hostess'
Salvatore Ferragamo couture dresses and Ferragamo for Maserati luggage sets.
While
the GranTurismo has gained much attention over the last
month the Quattroporte Automatic continues its global
roll-out and has made a string of high profile appearances
over the last month. The brand underlined its relationship with design and modern
art as an official partner of the 25th edition of the contemporary art fair Artbrussels.
The Quattroporte Automatic was presented in a modern white Maserati lounge,
fitting in its surroundings as another work of art designed by Pininfarina. To
complete the Italian look-and-feel, Poltrona Frau supplied its Talete
couch and legendary Vanity armchair.
From the start Artbrussels has had the profile of a contemporary art fair for
established and for young talent. With participants from 20 countries,
Artbrussels has grown into the happening for bringing together not only the
national but also the international art world. The last edition attracted a
record 30,000 art lovers. A select group of leading galleries from 20 countries brought work by both
established and young, up-and-coming artists. Visitors were offered more than
2,000 artworks on display, offering a fantastic, actual overview of the latest
developments in the contemporary art world.
From more than 340 applications, 123 established galleries were selected. The
full range of disciplines was on offer: painting, drawing, photography,
installations, video art, etc. More or less all the worthwhile contemporary art
galleries in Belgium were present at the fair, together with galleries from 20
other countries from all over the world.

From 16-21 April
the Quattroporte chosen to transport VIPs, celebrities and
representatives from 16 of the most prestigious marques to and from the
timepiece exhibition, the International Haute Horlogerie Show.
The event, reserved exclusively for luxury timepieces, was attended by some of
the world's best known watchmakers, including Audemars Piguet, Baume & Mercier,
Cartier, Girard-Perregaux, Montblanc, Officine Panerai, Roger Dubuis, Vacheron
Constantin and Van Cleef & Arpels. These companies presented their latest
creations in a suitably stylish setting.
Twenty five of the Trident flagship model, in its Automatic and Duoselect versions, were
parked in front of Geneva's most famous five-star hotels. For five days the roar
of the V8 engines rippled around the Cité de la Haute Horlogerie, making an
extraordinary impact. Among the other Trident vehicles on show were the limited edition supercar,
the MC12 Versione Corse, and a GranSport in Bianco Eldorado, both displayed by
the VIP entrance. The Quattroportes, were, as usual, on hand for use by
illustrious guests and celebrities, including Indonesian singer Angunn, Jasmine
Audemars, President of the Audemars Piguet Executive Board, and American actor
and director, Tim Robbins.
Wrapping up a busy month, the new Quattroporte Automatic has
just been launched on the
Taiwan market. More than 80 VIPs participated in the event, held at the Modena Motori Showroom.
Clients and prospects were offered a test drive of the exclusive Quattroporte
Automatic with the new ZF automatic transmission, and most of those present
expressed the desire to test it.
A private room displayed one Quattroporte Automatic in the new Blu Oceano
colour, and outside the Showroom guests could admire the Quattroporte Automatic
in Grigio Alfieri, the DuoSelect version in Bordeaux Pontevecchio and the Rosso
Mondiale GranSport.
