Barvikha Luxury Village, situated in 8
km from Moscow, was chosen as the perfect place to unveil
the latest model from Maserati, the GranTurismo, in Russia.
The car, first presented on the Geneva Salon earlier this
years inaugurated two celebrations of the brand at a time:
the 60th anniversary of the first car Maserati thaT
presented in Geneva in 1947, the A6 GranTurismo, and the
50th anniversary of Maserati 3500 GT.
Not surprisingly such a great presentation attracted the
attention of many Maserati admirers. Over 1,500 guests
gathered at the presentation to watch a wonderful
performance devoted to the new model. One of the VIP guests
was the Italian ambassador Vittorio Claudio Surdo with his
wife Roya Surdo. Also in attendance were local officials,
business people and journalists. Naturally the evening was
brightened by numerous famous people.
A spectacular show was organised for the audience; before
the appearance of the car two young modern artists created a
sketch of the new Maserati GranTurismo in 5 minutes. Bids
for the painting rocketed when it was put up for auction and
was finally sold for Euro 3600. Alongside with the sketch
many other lots of Maserati memorabilia were sold at the
auction. Soon after, the star of the night, the
long-expected car, in Grigio Touring colour with red
leather, appeared before the guests.

Meanwhile in Denmark His Royal Highness Prince Joachim has
become the owner of a brand new Quattroporte Automatic.
Billedbladet, the second largest magazine in Denmark,
featured an article announcing the Prince’s choice of the
“most exclusive and high profile car” which allows him to
combine driving with his great passion for motor racing.
Prince Joachim took his first ride comfortably seated in the
back of the stunning Quattroporte, on an official visit to
Aarhus from his Schackenborg Castle in the South of Jutland,
with his private royal chauffeur behind the wheel. “With a
4.2 litre V8 engine and 400 BHP the new royal flagship can
bring the Prince to his destination faster than fast -
although it weighs almost 2 tons”, the magazine claims.
Combining exclusive brand values with stunning performances,
the Maserati Quattroporte represents the perfect choice for
His Royal Highness.
