To compliment the arrival of the new
GranTurismo on the markets Maserati has put into place a wide range of services
including factory collection and tour, the 'Maserati Experience', advanced
driving courses, an exclusive accessory collection, warrantees, roadside
assistance, useful websites and an owners' club.
Factory delivery and tour
Maserati is known for the warmth and unique style of its cars, but did you know
Maserati can also offer that warmth and unique style when you take delivery of
your new Maserati?
Italy has long been at the top of tourism wish lists around the world, so
Maserati has put a programme together for any owner, anywhere in the world, to
take delivery of their car direct from the factory in Viale Ciro Menotti,
Modena.
A Maserati customer is not just another person in an impersonal car from a mass
market manufacturer. They become members of the Maserati family and picking up
their car at the factory gives us the opportunity to welcome them warmly and to
show them, yet again, what is special and different about our brand.
Taking delivery of a Maserati should be a unique and special occasion, so a tour
of the production line, filled with precision machinery and expert craftsmen,
and a handover in the headquarters’ showroom is an unforgettable way to begin a
Maserati relationship. The Factory Delivery can be organised by your local
authorised Maserati dealer, regardless of which country you live in.
Even if you’re not a Maserati owner, though, you are welcome to uncover the
myths and secrets of the legendary brand by touring the factory.
A guided tour of the production facility will show you how the cars are born,
highlight some of the secrets of Maserati development and help you to understand
the engineering in the cars.
The 90-minute tour is conducted in English, Italian, German or French, and also
encompasses the Maserati Store and the Atelier Maserati tailoring service, both
of which are flagships for Maserati dealers around the world.
Maserati Experience
If having your car delivered at the Maserati factory is not enough, Maserati
also has a unique programme to immerse you in the culture, history and cuisine
that all of its craftsmen live through every day. The Maserati Experience is the
perfect way to discover Modena and, therefore, truly discover the Modenese
company.
There is the choice of a one-day programme or a programme over several days,
with key restaurants, museums and artworks as highlights. A key to putting your
Maserati in context and to understanding how Maserati puts the warmth into its
cars, the Maserati Experience package can be tailored to your personal tastes or
timing needs.
You can visit the world-famous Panini Museum and/or Stanguellini Museum. The
Museo dell’Auto e Moto d’Epoca Umberto Panini houses 40 cars and 30 motorcycles,
and its focus is heavily on Maserati. Besides its collection of interesting
military vehicles, it has one of only four A6GCS Berlinetta Pininfarina
Maseratis, as well as the 6CM Maserati from 1963.
Also included is a guided tour of Modena, a city that once had more canals than
Venice. Modena’s cathedral and central piazza are both on UNESCO’s world
heritage list, and Maserati can arrange a two-hour guided tour of the city and
the cathedral, with the Ghirlandina Tower, which took one family 200 years to
build.
You can spend a day at the Modena Golf and Country Club, with its Bernhard
Langer-designed course, or join a cooking school, specialising in local Modenese
cuisine and including tips on how to make the best of the unique flavours of
balsamic vinegar. Maserati can even help you understand how the local artisans
make their traditional balsamic vinegar and wines. There are fashion tours as
well, and we can arrange visits to the wide variety of outlet stores in the
region.
Maserati can even book your hotels and restaurants, and you can be picked up by
our own limousine driver from the airport. Maserati keeps an updated list of
events in Modena so visitors can experience local culture, shows and fairs at
their best.
The Maserati Club
Once you’re in our circle of friends, you can have exclusive access to events
that money can’t buy and to surprises you would never be able to organize alone.
Maserati regularly invites its owners to join them in special events all over
the world, and they are also encouraged to join the Maserati Club.
The Club not only puts them in contact with other Maserati owners, but links
them to a calendar of events exclusively for Maserati Club members.
Lead by members who have made fundamental contributions to the Maserati legend,
the Club helps people link the company’s past with its future. Its President,
for example, is Maria Teresa de Filippis, the first female Formula One driver
(with a Maserati 250F).
Collection Maserati
The Maserati Collection is the perfect way to share your passion for Maserati.
Its creations are meticulously finished – the fruit of experimentation and
ongoing research with excellence and beauty being the guiding principles. The
flagship store is at Maserati’s headquarters on Viale Ciro Menotti, Modena, and
there is a smaller shop in the centre of Modena as well.
There is a focus on GranTurismo-related products, including rhodium-plated
cufflinks, shirts and the limited-edition GranTurismo VIP book, produced for the
car’s debut at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show, with a 3D Plexiglas® cover
highlighted by the radiator grille.
The full range of Maserati merchandise is divided into six sections – Pure,
Executive, Leisure, Gift, Scale Models and MC. Pure covers everything from
branded shirts, ties, hats and jackets to scarves and bandanas.

The only thing better than driving a Maserati is knowing how to drive it like an
expert.
And, of course, Maserati has its own way to help you achieve this. The only way
to do this, in our experience, is to learn from the experts on a racetrack in
complete safety. |

The Maserati service processes don’t stop at the
shop. They continue throughout the ownership of your
Maserati, with a three-year factory warranty,
complete with a comprehensive roadside assistance
service. |

Executive has been considered with business in mind, and has a range of cuff
links, key rings, wallets, travel bags, business portfolios and writing
implements. Leisure, as its name implies, covers leisure activity, but with a
Maserati twist. There is a range of towels, umbrellas, hats and swimming shorts,
but there is also a selection of four Maserati driving gloves.
If someone in your life is a Maserati owner – or a Maserati fan – the Gift
section offers everything from the Trofeo Teddy Bear, complete with his own race
suit, to a range of books, ashtrays and even coffee mugs and Trident dice. For
collectors of scale models of Maseratis past and present, the Scale Models
section is the place to go. There are solid aluminium models of the GranTurismo,
the Quattroporte and the classic Birdcage, there are stand-alone models, models
on plinths and even remote-controlled cars. Maserati’s racing merchandise is
contained within the MC section, including caps, sweatshirts, messenger and
travel bags and MC-branded wallets and key rings.
Besides being available to buy from our dealerships worldwide, all articles can
also be purchased on-line at www.maseratistore.com, which can dispatch gifts and
other items from the Maserati Collection to anywhere in the world. There are
also regular specials and discounts, plus a list of the hot-selling items each
month.
Master Maserati Driving Courses
The only thing better than driving a Maserati is knowing how to drive it like an
expert.
And, of course, Maserati has its own way to help you achieve this. The only way
to do this, in our experience, is to learn from the experts on a racetrack in
complete safety.
That’s why there are two kinds of Master Maserati driving courses to help you
get the most from your Maserati, both under the control of ex-Formula One driver
Ivan Capelli. Held at the Varano de’ Melegari Circuit, near Parma, the courses
examine your technical skills and allow Capelli’s team of professional
instructors to help you get the best out of your Maserati for both safety and
enjoyment.
The first type is the Master GT course, an intensive two-day package which has
you spending time at the wheel of a range of Maseratis (including the
GranTurismo from spring 2008). It’s a thrilling course, which runs through
theoretical and dynamic sessions, including a range of useful skills you may
never have considered before. You will learn about corner trajectories, the
analysis of telemetry data and you will be paced by an expert instructor in a
lead car. They will also teach you important, potentially life-saving skills,
such as fast direction changes, how to control skids and how to get the best out
of your car’s braking ability.
You can follow the Master GT course with Master Maserati Racing, a deep-dive
one-day course spent in Trofeo cars. During this course, the instructors will
elevate the skills from the Master GT course to their highest echelons, teaching
you racing techniques proven over years of experience.
Warranty, roadside assistance and Trident discoveries
The Maserati service processes don’t stop at the shop. They continue throughout
the ownership of your Maserati, with a three-year factory warranty, complete
with a comprehensive roadside assistance service. The warranty covers unlimited
mileage in Europe and, should there be a problem anywhere in mainland Europe or
the UK, the roadside assistance service is on standby to come to your rescue.
But not all Maserati owners buy their cars new, so there is also the Trident
Discoveries programme to certify the health of pre-owned Maseratis.
All cars in the scheme are less than five years old, they have all covered less
than 90,000km (55,000 miles) and all have had a thorough inspection by
Maserati-trained technicians.
Any car in the Trident Discoveries programme carries a full year warranty, with
unlimited mileage.
Maserati websites
At Maserati, the website is not regarded as a simple information tool. It is
used to reinforce the feeling that Maserati owners belong to an exclusive club.
Inside the www.maserati.com site is a simple area to direct you to your part of
the globe and, from there, log in to the special area for registered owners. One
surprisingly useful feature, found under the Services banner, is the Maserati
Garage, which can store all your Maserati’s information on-line. There are also
stories from Maserati’s rich history, including interviews with some of the
people who helped make the brand a legend and a host of other windows into the
warmth of Maserati. They also explain in detail how to get the maximum enjoyment
out of a trip to Italy to pick up your new Maserati direct from the factory.
The stunning GranTurismo Car Configurator, available on
www.configurator.maserati.com, enables you to build up your GranTurismo exactly
the way you like it, customizing the car from more than four million potential
combinations.
You can then realistically place your “configured” car in an outdoor scene. The
Maserati Internet Team worked to make this configurator even more intuitive to
use, and it has a number of innovative features. You can even email your choices
to friends and family for their feedback, and there are eight exterior and four
interior views of the completed car so you can check the combinations from every
angle.
Maserati owners and enthusiasts can also subscribe to Maserati.com’s online
newsletter via the www.maserati.com homepage. Covering the latest product news,
as well as events and racing, it is a great way to stay connected to the world
of Maserati.
