07.10.2007 THE MASERATI GRANTURISMO ARRIVES IN TAIWAN

Modena Motori Taiwan has officially unveiled the Maserati GranTurismo at the Xiu Xiu Institute Centre in Taipei. This was the first time the Taiwanese clients got a glimpse of the stunning GranTurismo. The sports cars arrival in Taiwan comes are a global roll out gathers pace and first deliveries are getting underway.

During the Media Day in Taipei over 60 journalists from the automotive, fashion, TV, and newspaper worlds, and from every other sphere flocked to see the GranTurismo. The following day more that 230 VIPs were invited to an exclusive evening event; the guests included existing Maserati owners as well as lovers of all things Maserati. The models exquisite dresses were made by Valentino, and Van Cleff and Arpels provided the dazzling jewellery.

Meanwhile there was a triumphant conclusion of Ludovico Einaudi’s concert tour in Germany. The Pianist Ludovic Einaudi fills concert halls all over Europe, and is also one of the busiest composers of film music in Italy. Last Wednesday his German concert tour, “Klassik Radio in Concert -The Best of Ludovico Einaudi,” premiered in the Northern city of Kiel. The tour was sponsored by Maserati Deutschland in collaboration with Klassik Radio.

After Kiel, Berlin, Munich, Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, and Hamburg the tour ended for both Ludovico Einaudi and Maserati on Wednesday evening in Nuremberg. 7,000 enthusiastic spectators enjoyed Einaudi’s work.

Maserati’s presence was highly visible throughout the concert tour, the Maserati Quattroporte was used as a VIP-Shuttle and Maserati presence was clearly felt at the various concert houses. The Italian composer and pianist Ludovico Einaudi is not just a minimalist, but also a maestro at creating an ambiance. His romantic melodies with their powerful timbres and delicate harmonies are calmly and melancholically captivating the entire world. While Einaudi’s songs often reach the charts in Italy and in the UK, he is best known in the rest of the world for his award-winning soundtracks.

Ludovico Einaudi’s concert tour 2007 was a very special moment, during which the artist declared his feelings in a new way: a harmonious ensemble of classical music, minimalist pop, and modern electronics. A the end of the final evening concert in Nuremberg, Peter Hermges, CEO of Maserati Deutchland said “The radio station’s program appeals to a premium audience who we wanted to become enthraled by Maserati. Sporty elegance met vigorous and timeless sounds.
