Maserati
laid on five Quattroporte Automatics at the recent
'Cinema Against AIDS' charity gala event. As the curtain
came down on the film festival, amfAR (the American
foundation for AIDS research) organised an Italian
version of the amfAR 'Cinema Against AIDS' event for the
first time. The auction is the most glamorous in the
world in the field of research into HIV.
The auction was hosted by Fendi, and had an Italian rose
as its symbol. Maserati was present in the form of five
Quattroporte Automatics in Bianco Fuji, Nero, Grigio
Touring, Grigio Granito, Blu Oceano (Fuji White, Black,
Touring Grey, Granite Grey and Ocean Blue). Top VIP
guests such as Sharon Stone, Asia Argento, Mira Sorvino,
Dana Fuchs, and Julie Taymor were just some of those who
enjoyed the Quattroporte experience.
A stunning
Sharon Stone, a long-time campaigner for research into
Aids, arrived at Palazzo Fendi in a sparkling Maserati.
The auction took place in the prestigious Etolie space
and raised almost $1.5 million thanks to a very generous
audience. In attendance were Zoe Cassavetes, Sofia
Coppola, Eva Herzigova, Valeria Golino, Riccardo
Scamarcio, and Gabriele Muccino.
Maserati fully contributed to the event by providing its
services for the entire week to VIPs such as amfAR’s
Chief Executive, Kevin Frost, as well as China Forbes,
and Thomas Lauderdale. Organisers of the event, AAB
Production, offered their heartfelt thanks to Maserati
for the support they received. |
