Maserati’s flagship model, the
Quattroporte, has won its fourth straight award from
Auto Zeitung. Each year readers from the
specialist online German magazine, Auto Zeitung,
vote to decide the winner of the Auto Trophy, a
prestigious prize in the motoring world. The
Quattroporte was victorious in the luxury saloon
‘import’ category, recording 30.6% of the vote (compared
to 30.4% in 2006).
Having now collected 40 international accolades, the
continuing honours from Auto Zeitung, and the
fact that almost 104,000 readers voted for it, is
further proof of the Maserati Quattroportes’ success.
Peter Hermges, General Manager of Maserati Germany, was
on hand to receive the prize at the ceremony that took
place in Berlin on 27 November. Elsewhere in the Auto
Trophy, the Fiat 500 won the award in its class. |
