As part of the
significant reorganisation which started at Pininfarina

assignments already given in the areas of engineering,
manufacturing, logistics and quality, Mr. Silvio Angori has
been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Pininfarina S.p.A.,
the position being effective from January 1st, 2007. He will
report directly to the Chairman and CEO Andrea Pininfarina.
Silvio Angori,
who is 45 years old, graduated with a degree in Physics from Università degli

Reporting to
Pininfarina’s new COO Silvio Angori will be: Project
Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing
and Logistics, Human Resources, Sales and Business
Development, Administration Planning and Control.
Meanwhile the eagerly awaited automatic version of the
Maserati Quattroporte luxury sedan has been presented in
public for the first time earlier this week, on the occasion
of the North American International Auto Show, being held in
Detroit. The Quattroporte is a Pininfarina design - and it
is one that they are justifiably proud of. “With the Quattroporte project, displayed for the first time
at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, Pininfarina succeeded to
create a car that is at the same time sporty, elegant and
clearly Italian, but above all immediately recognisable as a
Maserati. I am extremely proud that this new version of the
Quattroporte makes its debut in the significant United
States market.” declared Andrea Pininfarina, Chairman and CEO Pininfarina S.p.A.
this week. “Moreover, I like to remember that in 2005 a
further result of the collaboration between Maserati and
Pininfarina was the Maserati Birdcage 75th prototype, that
met with a new great success at the recent Beijing Motor
Show.” he concluded.
