Fresh from the
successful United States debut for the Quattroporte Sport GT S in Los Angeles,
Maserati is heading for Bologna next month. Much more than a normal stand
though, Maserati will put on a show stopping display at the Italian motor show.
The Modenese company will display the latest creations to leave Maserati’s Viale
Ciro Menotti Head Quarters at the biggest Italian automotive event, the Bologna
Motor Show. These vehicles are enjoying huge success all around the world, and it
will be possible to take a close look at the GranTurismo in Bianco Fuji and
Grigio Granito (Fuji White and Granite Grey) as well as the all-new Maserati
Quattroporte Sport GT S in Nero Carbonio (Carbon Black). These will flank
Executive GT and standard versions Of the Quattroporte (equipped with a
Duoselect transmission), in Blu Oceano and Grigio Touring (Ocean Blue and
Touring Grey), respectively.
This marvellous showcase will be completed by the appearance of a Maserati
MC12 Versione Corse and two Maserati Trofeos. On 7 December, the first day the
event is open to the public, Andrea Bertolini, winner of the 2006 FIA GT
International Drivers' championship and Maserati's official tester, will drive
the MC12 at the motor show for the first time. At the same time the Trofeo GranSport,
derived from the GranSport for use on the track, will take part in two events
organised by Pirelli. Maserati's latest creations have taken the American
market by storm.
Meanwhile, the sportier version of Maserati's flagship model, the Quattroporte Sport GT S,
has wowed the crowds at the Los Angeles Auto Show earlier this month. Alongside the Nero Carbonio Sport GT S were two examples of the GranTurismo, one in Grigio Granito
and the other in Nero. Completing the line up was an
eye-catching, Grigio Touring Quattroporte Executive GT Automatic.
Products from the Merchandising Maserati Collection were also on display at the
stand.
