Alfardan Sports Motors Company was the
Maserati GranTurismo which was presented on
28th November 2007 during a glamorous
evening at the Ritz Carlton Hotel with a
press conference followed by a gala dinner
attended by Sports Motor Company guest and
Maserati enthusiasts'. |

Alfardan
Sports Motors Company, a member of Alfardan Group and
exclusive Ferrari and Maserati importer in Qatar has
taken possession of its new Ferrari and Maserati
showroom located in the heart of The Pearl Island.
Mohammed Kandeel, vice-president, sales and marketing,
and Hussein Adra, marketing manager, both of Alfardan
Sports Motors Company; and Christiaan Barnard, tenant
co-ordination manager, The Pearl-Qatar, attended the
ceremony.
The new showroom will epitomise new standards of luxury
and elegance and will house an assortment of the Ferrari
and Maserati models for sports luxury motor enthusiasts.
The showroom also showcases a new Ferrari Licensed
Boutique and the first ever Maserati Boutique. The
boutiques will offer latest trends branded accessories
and lifestyles products. The outlets will be designed in
accordance with the international standards of Ferrari
and Maserati. The new showroom will be formally
inaugurated later this year.
Kandeel said, "We are very pleased to see that we are
getting ever closer to achieving our first step within
our expansion plans for the year 2008. This new showroom
is a testament to our pledge of growth which we have
strictly abided by since the inception of our company
and we are confident that this year would hold several
other successful milestones."
The company recently achieved highest sales per capita
of Ferrari cars worldwide, accomplishing 120% sales
growth rate over the past three years. The company
witnessed a 29% increase in Ferrari sales in Qatar from
2006 to 2007 and is looking into new growth prospects
for 2008.
The company has bagged Sprint Ferrari Importer of the
Year for 2006 and inaugurated the first ever Ferrari
Boutique in Middle East and North Africa, in its
showroom located on Grand Hamad Street. Last year has
been an equally bright year for both Ferrari and
Maserati following Ferrari's 60th global anniversary and
the introduction of Maserati's new jewel, Maserati
GranTurismo, which spurred huge response and sales
across the globe.
