From 16th to 21st April 2008, during the days of the most important international furniture event in the world, the Ferrari Store in Piazza Liberty in Milan opens its doors for contemporary design: the Store will show some of the most famous Cappellini products.

Red and yellow are the dominant colours to celebrate the colours of Ferrari. Past and present, legend and inspiration - a creative itinerary through history. Forms and materials in perfect harmony with Ferrari to highlight an innovative and lively spirit.

The armchairs Fish, Felt, Statuette, S-Chair, Embryo and Lotus - designed by international stars such as Marc Newson, Jasper Morrison, Tom Dixon, Lloyd Schwan and Satyendra Pakhalé - with their soft and aerodynamic lines, remind us of the silhouettes of the cars with the Prancing Horse.

The Revolving Cabinet by Shiro Kuramata, in its lively red, is one of Cappellini's legendary design icons, while Bong - small spherical tables in red and yellow - add dashes of colours to the space of the Store.

The exhibition opens on 16th April at 18:30h with a cocktail party sponsored by Martini. This invitation only event officially inaugurates the Ferrari-Cappellini partnership created for this occasion. The Ferrari Store in Piazza Liberty is open from 10 to 20h from Monday to Friday and on Sundays and from 10 to 21h on Saturdays.
