In the
harvest season of Fall, Ferrari, Italian top luxury
sports car brand, celebrates its 500th owner in China
during the Shanghai GP F1 week. Mr. Jean Todt, President
of the Board of Directors of Ferrari Asia Pacific and
Mr. Marco Mattiacci, CEO of Ferrari Asia Pacific
attended the car delivery ceremony held in Ferrari
Shanghai showroom with over 60 journalists from all over
China. The 500th Ferrari owner in China, Mr. Lu, is the
President of a famous Shanghai investment company and
long-time F1 fan.
The highlight of the car delivery ceremony appeared when
the "mysterious guest"- F1 Ferrari racer Felipe Massa
made the appearance at the event site, bringing a
sensational pleasant surprise to the owner and media.
With a string of engine sounds, Massa slowly drove out a
blue Ferrari 612 Scaglietti OTO, and personally
delivered it to Mr. Lu. This symbolizes a historical
milestone of Ferrari in China since its formally
established operation in Aug 2004.
Mr. Mattiacci commented, "With over 60% of market share
in the luxury sports car segment and through various
creative customer relationship programs, Ferrari has
established a solid loyal customer base in China and
become increasingly popular. The number '500' not only
demonstrated what the prancing horse has achieved in
China but also indicates the beginning of a new journey,
when Ferrari will speed up its pace in this market."
Mr. Lu expressed his deep gratitude to Ferrari for this
unforgettable car delivery ceremony. He feels each
Ferrari is a piece of exquisite moving art standing for
uniqueness and exclusivity. As this car is a birthday
gift for his wife, Mr. Lu believes his wife and the
whole family will enjoy the ultimate fun and passion
from this new 612 GT. When been asked what his next
Ferrari is, he smiled and said "Ferrari always delivers
surprises and I am looking forward to the next surprise
from Ferrari."
