The Fiat Stilo has been chosen the favourite medium sized hatchback in Brazil in a survey on the internet carried out by Interpress Motor, the automotive section of the leading UOL news portal.

The Fiat Stilo has been chosen as the favourite medium sized hatchback in Brazil in a survey on the internet that took place between January 21 and February 04, 2008. The voting was carried out by the viewers of the website Interpress Motor, which is the automotive dedicated section of the leading UOL news portal.

In the contest the Fiat Stilo conquered first place with a massive 43.04 percent of the votes, and was followed at a distance the by Ford Focus (34.48 pct). Next up in viewers' voting was the Peugeot 307 (10.37 pct), Chevrolet Vectra GT (5.17 pct), VW Golf (4.89 pct) and Nissan Tiida (2.05 pct). A total of 14,065 votes were cast during the two weeks that the voting took place over.

Last month the Brazilian-built Fiat Stilo recieved a facelift and with this makeover came innovations for the Brazilian market, bringing new equipments into its segment: the Dualdrive electric direction; Bluetooth® advice; electric sun roof Sky Window; parking, rain and twilight sensors and the Dualogic robotized sequential gearbox.
