Newly-crowned Strictly Come Dancing champion
Tom Chambers’ coveted UK title was his second
celebration in a matter of days – after taking delivery
of a new Fiat 500 last week.
The former Holby City star, together with
professional dance partner Camilla Dallerup, was on top of
the world on Saturday night after wowing ballroom fans
across the UK with a stunning final routine to win the TV
crown. But just the day before, Tom was dancing for joy
following the arrival of his new Fiat 500 1.4 16v Lounge in
fabulous Funk White.
Fiat fan Tom, who already owns an original Fiat 500, will
use his new car to travel the country when he joins the
Strictly Come Dancing live show early next year. Its
award-winning blend of comfort, style and fuel economy will
certainly earn a maximum score from the Cha-cha-cha champ.
“What an amazing last few weeks,” says Tom. “I recently got
married, I’ve won Strictly Come Dancing and now I
have one of my favourite cars to drive. This is a fantastic
finale to the year.
“I have always loved Fiat 500s and bought the old one two
years ago for my wife Clare. I am really pleased with this
new car and am looking forward to driving home to Derbyshire
in it for Christmas. It’s the perfect end to a brilliant
2008.”
Available with a choice of three frugal, ultra-low
emissions, Euro 5-ready engines: 69 bhp 1.2-litre and 100
bhp 1.4-litre petrol, or 75 bhp 1.3-litre MultiJet
turbodiesel, the new Fiat 500 can be ordered in three
different trim levels – Pop, Sport and Lounge.
With a starting price in the UK of
just £7,929 on-the-road, the new Fiat 500 represents
outstanding value for money and positions the car well below
benchmark rivals. The car being driven by Tom costs only
£10,671 – a price that includes air conditioning and alloy
wheels as standard.
