						The new Fiat
Fiorino van recently took centre stage at the important
Italian Serie A football clash between Juventus
and its closest rival for a place in next year's
European Cup, Roma. Three Fiorino Cargos, painted
respectively in red, white and green to signify the
colours of the national flag, burst onto the immaculate
pitch at half time to the sound of music while a huge
banner bearing the Fiat Professional logo was unfurled
						and carried cross the pitch.

					The event and
the colours specially chosen for the trio of Fiorino vans
signified the Fiat Professional division's status as an
official partner of the Italian national football team that
impressively won the last FIFA Football World Cup, held in
Germany two years ago, while Juventus goalkeeper Gigi
Buffon, also a member of that winning national team, is an
'ambassador' for the Fiorino and its Italian print
advertising campaign focuses around him using the van in
					different scenarios.

					On the pitch
there were more celebrations for Juventus, who themselves
are sponsored by the Fiat Group's agricultural and
construction equipment manufacturing division New Holland,
and at the full time whistle it was a case of "mission
accomplished" for the Turinese team. After a previous match
win against Udinese, Juventus beat Roma too and thus earned
maximum points from the two games against their rivals for a
place in Europe. The game at the Olimpico was decided by Del
Piero, who earned a vital win for the team: his masterpiece
free kick after 45 minutes ensured three golden points,
allowing the team to close the gap with Roma to only one
point. Second place would mean qualifying directly to the
Champions League without going through the qualifiers.

On a day when Inter Milan won again and AC Milan drew at
Parma, the win achieved by the Bianconeri was worth double.
With the Champions League now coming back, and Inter Milan,
Roma and AC Milan busy with those games, the chances for
Juve to climb the table increase dramatically.

It was a memorable evening for the Olimpico crowd. Juventus
won for the first time against true top-level rivals and
confirmed they like playing against Spalletti's team, as
they've now beaten them twice this year and earned a draw
away from home against them too. Next up was Reggina before
the two matches in five days against Torino and Fiorentina.
