Fiat Group’s new website, created to reflect the profound transformations the company has experienced in the last few years, went on-line today.

The site, www.fiatgroup.com, was conceived and developed around the graphic symbol of the square, a shape that implies rationality and stability, as well as being a key element of the trademark.

A renewal that not only embodies changes in graphics but also in content: the new site, directed mainly at professionals (in the financial and communication sectors) but also at the broader public, is intended to provide a comprehensive overview of the activities of a large industrial group of international magnitude.

The changes are in line with the new culture at Fiat and, in particular, reflect two strategic choices in business approach: on the one hand, the coherence of the entire Group, and on the other, the specificity of each individual company, brand and product.

Based upon this premise, the site opens important windows onto all sectors: from automobiles (Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Fiat Professional, Ferrari and Maserati), to the agricultural and construction equipment of CNH; from Iveco’s commercial vehicles to the components and systems of Fiat Powertrain Technologies, Magneti Marelli, Comau and Teksid; and concluding with Itedi’s publishing activities.

The project, realised in partnership with Microsoft (for the technological platform) and DGTmedia (for the creative design and development), introduces some important sections: “Corporate Responsibility”, dedicated to the values upon which Fiat will base its development as well as its economic, social and environmental sustainability initiatives; “Innovation and Technology”, the arena for the most important innovations introduced on the market, and for research projects underway for new products and production processes; and “Suppliers Centre”, directed at the more than ten thousand suppliers for the Group.
