Maserati
GB’s first GranTurismo press car has been driven back
from Italy by the celebrity chef James Martin, who
followed a stunning route through Europe, taking in the
most luxurious hotels and gastronomic delights. This is
not only the preserve of celebrities, as every Maserati
customer can collect their car from Maserati’s
Headquarters in Modena, by requesting the factory
collection when ordering their car.
Maserati GB has
just announced that it has ended 2007 with record sales
figures: 611 cars were delivered to clients through the
Official Maserati Dealer Network.
By the end of
last year, 238 Maserati GranTurismos were delivered to
clients, and over the coming months many more customers will
be taking delivery of their vehicles. In total 283
Quattroportes were delivered to customers, 85 percent of
which were fitted with the automatic transmission, with the
Quattroporte Sport GT being the most popular choice. The
GranSport and the MC Victory were amongst the remaining 90
vehicles retailed in 2007.
Maserati GB’s
success is a reflection on the global success that Maserati
enjoyed throughout 2007. Worldwide 7353 cars were delivered
to customers, an increase of 33.3% on 2006, via a network of
272 dealers in 59 countries across 5 continents. The UK is
currently Maserati’s third largest market after the United
States and Italy.
