03.02.2008 THREE MORE AWARDS FOR THE MASERATI QUATTROPORTE

MASERATI QUATTROPORTE

The European public has handed three new awards to the Maserati Quattroporte through voting carried out by the magazines Quattroruote, Auto Motor und Sport and Autoillustrierte.

The European public through magazine voting has honoured the Trident marque's flagship saloon model, the Quattroporte, with three more important awards.

With more than 47 percent of the votes and for the third year in a row, the Quattroporte has been awarded the first prize in the My Favourite Car competition run by the noteworthy Italian magazine, Quattroruote. This prestigious nod is confirmed by the Swiss magazine, Autoillustrierte, whose readers have voted the luxury saloon Best Luxury Car 2008 with 28 percent of the vote.

Even more recognition comes from Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport journal. Now in its 32nd year, their annual survey has seen the Quattroporte win 39.1 percent of the vote in the Imported Luxury Limousine category.

Readers of automotive magazines are of great strategic importance as they provide a competent and exacting point of view on current automobile market trends. The Maserati Quattroporte has now received 46 prizes since its Frankfurt launch in 2003.
