The Spear’s Wealth Management Awards were held at
Sotheby’s in London to honour the achievements of those
in the high net worth world. Maserati won the “Luxury
Retail Brand of the Year” Award, for a luxury brand
which has demonstrated prestige brand leadership
throughout 2007-8.
Maserati - according to the judging panel consisting of
experts in all areas of the luxury, art and financial world
as well as Spear’s journalists - achieved notable
development in status and brand position in relation to the
HNW community.
William Cash, Editor of the Year 2008 and founder of the
Spear’s Wealth Management Survey handed over the prize to
Maserati GB’s Managing Director Andrea Antonnicola who said:
“I am exceedingly proud of collecting this award on behalf
of Maserati and of all my colleagues at the headquarters in
Italy. We couldn’t have asked for a more prestigious
recognition of our efforts to carve a prominent and stable
place in the world of luxury. Being selected among other
nominees such as Cartier, Patek Philippe and Bentley to name
but a few, makes this award even more significant.”
The Spear’s Wealth Management Survey is a quarterly magazine
for high net worth individuals and those in the financial
service industries. It can be considered a Michelin guide of
the financial world and has been called “the Bible of the
banking fraternity” by GQ and “a European rival to
Forbes” by the Evening Standard, and goes to 25,000
of Europe’s decision-makers and wealth-creators.
The Awards categories ranged widely: from the best luxury
brand to the ultimate in leisure and business travel, from
the private banker at the peak of their career to the future
leaders standing just behind them, from the philanthropist
who takes a close involvement in their gifts to the art
adviser who steers their collections in the right direction.
