Aznom is one
of many firms that has chosen the new Fiat 500 as an
object to reinterpret, the Italian company creating a
distinct reworked model that features new bright
two-tone colours and vivid, luxurious materials.
The 500 by Aznom
will be offered in three versions, Amabile (leather
seats and external details following the customer's
individual tastes), Intrigante (leather seats and
inner details such as the transmission gear handle and brake
pedal, bicoloured bodywork); and Seducente
(full leather interior, bicoloured car bodywork or special
varnish finish, detailed dashboard, personalised car mats
and back compartment). Aznom quote a time up to one and a
half months to undertake the work.

The idea of
elaborating the 500 comes from the will to refine and
customise a real icon of our age, sign of the Italian
renaissance, and comes also from the wish to change and
personalise something that in fact at the beginning was born
especially for common people.
We set an important partnership with Mr Giovanni Novello, of
Gruppo Nowa, which family has been engaged for a long time,
since the ’50, in the arrangement, realisation and care of
many specially built cars. This so experienced group is well
known also for its services of cars restoration and
hand-made customisations.
The Fiat 500 Topolino which had its body rebuilt by Mr
Walter Novello, father of Giovanni, in 1949. Originally it
was a “giardinetta” made of wood; after the transformation
the long-wheel base was extended, the engine was empowered
and the car’s body completely renewed with inner features
and colours totally personalised.
Our first car production, based on the 500, was born with
the main aim to experience new materials, new colours and to
risk new chromatic combinations in order to promote and
encourage our customer’s imagination and creativity. The
dashboard has been perfectly personalised, covered by
unconventional and eccentric wood applications that give the
car an extremely original touch, for people who don’t want
to follow the usual aesthetic rules.
The car’s body of 500 by Aznom is bicloured: the roof and
the side-view/wing mirrors have been varnished with an ochre
pearly changeable tone, perfectly in contrast/combination
with the black-tinted underside.
Inner details have been fully covered by bicoloured leather.
Seats and backs have been finished with English styled
leather pipes of the ’60s. Brown and ochre yellow perfectly
alternate in an elegant and flexible way giving the
passenger compartment a really exclusive style. The frame is
Alcantara covering the top and upper cuts, including
sunshade in brown leather and Alcantara. Reflect yourself in
luxury.
The usual 16 inch alloy wheels have been replaced with 17
inch ones in extra light alloy, Mak Passenger XLR, shod with
specific Yokohama “Parada” tyres, thanks to the partnership
with both RS & TA Yokohama and Mak.
Specials on this version: same elegance for the key, in wood
as the dashboard, leather bag and tool-kit in the same
fashion colours of car’s inner details. Limited optionals: a
special hidden button allowing the partial unlocking and
opening of the passenger’s door. An accessory, initially
seen on the Fiat 130 coupé, that made it easier for women to
get into the car. Aznom has revived this feature calling it
“the gentleman's button”, a vintage and unique accessory.
Gallantry is back. For the lucky owners of this car there
will be the opportunity, at the special price of 400 euros,
to attend the driving training course, dubbed trackznom.
