Having just
made its international debut in Turin, in front of an
audience of around 1000 people including journalists,
Italian dealers and vendors, key customers and truck
body builders from all over Europe, the New Eurocargo
has embarked on a road show spanning the length and
breadth of Europe.
The fleet of medium-duty commercial vehicles will travel
through 26 countries, visiting 250 locations and
covering a distance of more than 2 million kilometres.
In all, 350 events and 18,000 test drives will be
organised in the space of 200 days to promote the new
Eurocargo, which confirms Iveco’s credentials as a
full-range constructor.
The first all-Italian stage of the tour took place last
weekend at Fiat's Balocco test track. The Italian leg of
the Iveco Road Show will subsequently move on to Sicily
in July and will conclude with a stopover in Veneto on
10 and 11 July, organised in partnership with the Iveco-owned
dealership Officine Brennero Spa.
The tour will then proceed to France, Germany, eastern
Europe, Spain, northern Europe, Benelux, Austria,
Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
