The Iveco
Daily has been awarded the title of Van Of The Year
in Brazil, repeating the success achieved by the Stralis
in 2007. The prestigious award was conferred on the
Daily by the AutoData, Brazil’s most
authoritative automotive sector magazine. The choice of
the Daily was made on the basis of votes cast by over
12,000 readers.
This prestigious title is the latest in a series of
awards that this Iveco model has won this year: the
Daily has been voted Best Light Commercial by the
magazine Estradas and Best Van in Brazil by the
São Paulo magazine Intralogistica. The latest
version of the Daily was only introduced in Brazil in
the Autumn of 2007, but has already won the faith and
trust of customers and achieved excellent sales figures,
increasing its market share in the 3.5-6 ton segment
from 10 percent to 25 percent by the end of October
2008.
To confirm just how impressive this commercial success
is, in addition to the awards won by the Daily, Iveco
itself has received the Best Marketing Strategy
award for its brand and product promotions in Brazil,
thanks in part to a campaign featuring Ferrari driver
Felipe Massa.
