Actor Max Beesley returned to the North West to fulfill his passion for cars when he collected his new Alfa Romeo. The star of BBC hit series Hotel Babylon, Max is now in the driving seat of an Alfa Romeo Brera 2.2 JTS in Carbonio Black, which he collected from the UK’s largest and longest established Alfa Romeo dealership Mangoletsi, at Knutsford.
Now driving his second Alfa
Romeo in less than a year, Max
is mesmerised by the Italian
marque’s drive appeal and sheer
beauty. After driving an Alfa
Romeo Spider 2.2 JTS
convertible, Max is now lapping
up the stylish Brera, which
combines Alfa Romeo’s harmony of
exotic design, performance,
safety, and exclusivity.
Max said: “The Brera is a
beautiful car and the staff here
at Mangoletsi are a real
friendly bunch. It’s a pleasure
to come in and see them, and the
fantastic cars.”
Max, an avid Manchester United
fan, was back in Manchester
filming the BBC remake of the
cult classic Survivors and
dropped into Mangoletsi between
his filming schedule.
“I have always been a Porsche
fan but now I’ve been won over
by the new range of Alfa Romeo
models - I love them. Maybe when
I hit a mid-life crisis I’ll get
a Porsche again,” joked Max. He
added: “The new Alfa Romeo 8C is
amazing, I’d love to get behind
the wheel of that – it’s a
monster."
